In Uruzgan province, the Taliban shut down community-based education learning run by international NGOs. These centers provide small-scale classes in remote areas, offering vital educational access to children who would otherwise be deprived of schooling.

In Herat province, the Taliban’s Vice and Virtue officials closed down five cafes run by women.

In Bamyan province, the Taliban education director closed down accelerated learning run by UNICEF. These classes were designed to support girls out of school.
