The Taliban published their new law in an official gazette, adding to their already extensive list of bans. During a visit to Kunduz province, the Taliban Minister of Vice and Virtue declared that obeying the regime’s rules is “obligatory” and called for jihad, or war, against those who oppose their rule.
In Paktia and Khost provinces, the Taliban’s Department of Information and Culture issued a warning to radio stations, banning the broadcast of educational programs for students beyond the 6th grade.
