The Taliban’s Ministry of Education mandated that private schools sign an agreement prohibiting the enrollment of girls over the age of 10 or those in grades 7 and above.
Additionally, the Taliban has imposed a requirement for all working women to obtain a work permit from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Following an order from the Taliban supreme leader, the Economic Affairs Commission announced plans to replace the leadership of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce, replacing them with their own affiliates.
